In this virtual class, Baker Bettie will walk you through making bagels 100% from start to finish including mixing, kneading, and shaping the dough by hand, boiling the bagels to get the perfect dense texture, and baking them for a crispy-on-the-outside finish.
Additional topics include learning how to flavor bagels by adding flavor directly to the dough and how to add toppings. While the bagels are baking, Baker Bettie will also go over how to make a veggie cream cheese schmear.
Bake along with us or simply watch and ask questions! All recipes, ingredient, equipment, and tool list will be provided prior to class.
